I am currently working on Paris Metro Trash, busy building a custom Paris metro map, with at least one trash can, like what you can find below, representing each metro station. Compare what they throw away in the 16th vs what they throw away in the 3rd! Whatever tickles your fancy! A good friend likened the bins to condoms (green versions but I do see the resemblance), capturing society`s ejaculate of pleasure. Often, I think this is actually the case, especially in street trash cans. You can judge for yourselves when the site is officially launched in January (if not sooner).

In the meantime, every few days I will start to post new photos on my ParisMetroTrash Instagram account, which you can follow by scanning the QR code to the bottom-right using your iPhone or Android mobile phones. You can also see the feed from my ParisMetroTrash Instagram below and to keep up with my progress, be sure to follow me on Twitter too, or check the twitter feed to the right.

Once I have started to add the stations to each line, I will add the ability for users to send in their own Paris Metro Trash photos via Instagram, direct to my site here for all to see (specific to a station/line).

You can check on my progress by viewing the latest Paris map coverage of where I have been to take photos. I am stopped more and more by people interested in the crazy guy with his head in a bin:) So far, for the most part, people like the project:)

Below is an instagram feed, using #parismetrotrash - which you can add your own photos to if you use the # tag parismetrotrash. Twitter also uses the same hash tag. To view larger, just click on an image. Scan the QR code below to follow us on Instagram.
